Red and Gold Holiday Gala Invitations

The holidays are quickly approaching and I had so much fun designing these pieces for a photo shoot for Couture Events. The colors were red, gold with an old hollywood feel. I always love designing pieces for the holidays since it's such a wonderful and colorful time of year.

We printed these on heavy white textured card stock and mounted them on both a gorgeous red textured card stock and a shimmery gold card stock. Each piece was then embellished with a glittery red ball to add touch of holiday sparkle.

Winter Wonderland wedding

What says holiday chic better than rhinestones? I was so excited to work with Couture Events to design pieces for their winter wonderland photo shoot. To create the elegant look, we printed everything on a white shimmer card stock and then mounted it to both a textured silver card stock and a lighter silver shimmer card stock. Then we used a white satin ribbon with a silver border to wrap the invitation and added a rhinestone brooch for extra sparkle.

The response cards and place cards were designed with the same card stock and incorporated soft silver swirls with rhinestone embellishments.

I can't wait to post the photos from the photo shoot!

Thinking outside of the box

Photobucket

It's your wedding so why not think outside of the box? Instead of doing the typical square or rectangle menu card at your reception, why not try a circle? The menu can be cut to fit exactly to the dimensions of your plates or chargers and is a fun way to add an interesting element to your tables.

Hot pink and black wedding details

If you want something totally unique and different, this is one idea. When using black as a primary color in your wedding and reception, you can make it less formal by pairing it with a bright color like hot pink. In this set, I kept the design simple but used fun elements like die cuts, ribbon and fun patterned paper to make it unique. And yes, I did the die cuts all by hand. It takes a little time and patience, but it makes each piece special and something your guests will remember.

Gorgeous seaside wedding with a basketball theme

I had the pleasure to work with a wonderful couple to design their seaside wedding invitations. Both the bride and groom love sports as well so we incorporated a basketball theme into their reception by designing a guest seating board to resemble a basketball bracket system. Each table was named after a favorite basketball player and we designed the table cards to resemble basketballs. By using the seaside colors in the design, we were able to stay with the theme and still incorporate a personal touch to the reception. My husband went to school with the groom so we had the honor of attending the wedding as well. What a wonderful evening!
